The Helotes City Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009, at City Hall. »

The City Council meeting was opened at 7 p.m. The first item of business was a public hearing on the City's FY 2010 budget. There was no one present wanting to speak, and the hearing was closed at 7:03 p.m. »

This was Lad Herold's last meeting. Everyone expressed their appreciation of all the contributions Lad has made over the years. City Council has approved Pat Wootton as his replacement. »

The Helotes Parks and Recreation Committee met last Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Megan Mutschler, the Secretary, conducted the meeting since the Chair and the Vice Chair were absent. »

The Helotes Humane Society is holding its second annual PAWS ON THE PATIO fundraiser on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at the Floore Country Store in Old Town Helotes. The event is family-oriented and free to the public. Dogs are welcome on a leash for a $5 donation at the door. »

The Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. »

Everyone is invited to join Helotes Heritage Association members who will be picking up trash in Old Town Helotes and along Scenic Loop Road, from Highway 16 to Whip-o-Will, on Saturday, September 26, 2009. »
