July 3, 2010, Saturday – HHS ADOPTION EVENT AT PETCO, 11398 Bandera Road, from 12 noon to 3:30 p.m.  There will be dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption.

July 6, 2010, Tuesday – HELOTES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING, 7 p.m., at City Hall, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas.

July 6, 2010, Tuesday – NORTH SECTOR PLANNING TEAM MEETING, 6 to 8 p.m.  If you have an interest in how the areas around Helotes are developed and if you value open spaces, you should attend this meeting.  The location at this time is scheduled to be at the Alzafar Shrine on Loop 1604 (if this changes, the new location will be posted here).  It is at this meeting that interested individuals must make their voices heard. PET LOSS & GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP OF SAN ANTONIO (Since 2003), group gatherings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at The English Tea Shoppe, 6877 Bandera Road (in Leon Valley between Grissom and Huebner Roads).  Group gatherings are held in a quiet space for privacy.
