HHS Fundraiser – Paws on the Patio
The Helotes Humane Society is holding its second annual PAWS ON THE PATIO fundraiser on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at the Floore Country Store in Old Town Helotes. The event is family-oriented and free to the public. Dogs are welcome on a leash for a $5 donation at the door.
Last year’s PAWS ON THE PATIO fundraiser was a huge success with over 600 local residents and their companion animals in attendance. This year promises to be even bigger!
They are asking individuals and businesses to donate prizes, merchandise, or gift certificates to their silent auction and for door prizes.
If you have anything to donate, please call 210-422-6242, and they will be happy to pick it up. Also, various levels of sponsorship are available, from $250 to $1,000. Any and all donations are appreciated and are tax-deductible.
This is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and proceeds go toward helping in their mission to care for abused and neglected animals in our community, promote spay/neuter, and educate the public about the humane treatment of animals.
