Special City Council Meeting Scheduled for November 19
A special City Council meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 4 p.m. at City Hall. If you are interested in attending, please note the time, as Council meetings are usually held at 7 p.m.
There are two items on the Consent Agenda:
Approval of a recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Committee to hold a holiday parade on December 12, 2009, and approval of the use of the City’s website to advertise the event, the closure of portions of Riggs Road and Antonio Road, and Old Bandera Road in its entirety, and expenditures from FY 2010 budgeted funds, and
Approval of an ordinance establishing and amending fees, costs, and fines charged by the City.
The only item on the agenda for individual consideration is discussion of and action on the submittal of a funding application to the Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program for the implementation and construction of bicycle racks, trash receptacles, benches, and trails within the Helotes Creek Linear Park and a pedestrian bridge over Helotes Creek.
As part of this application process, the City is requesting TXDoT to deed to the City property adjacent to Helotes Creek and Old Scenic Loop Road.
