Update on Helotes-Grey Forest Farmers Market
Due to community demand, the Helotes-Grey Forest Farmers Market, held at the Helotes Hills United Methodist Church at 13222 Bandera Road, is now being held every Friday, from 2 to 6 p.m., through November 13. The market was previously held only on the second and fourth Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m.
There is also another farmers market in the area. According to Hill Country Farmers Market Association representative, Heather Hunter, the Leon Springs Farmers Market is held every Saturday, year-round, rain or shine, at the Leon Springs Baptist Church at 24133 Boerne Stage Road, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
It’s nice to have these markets available to our community. Let’s make the best of this opportunity and shop at both of them!
