HHS – Free Pet Food Distribution
On the first Saturday of each month, the Helotes Humane Society distributes pet food to needy individuals, organizations, and fosters.
In today’s tough financial environment, many people who truly love their pets might be thinking about giving them up because of the cost involved in feeding them. This event is intended to help these pet owners by providing food for their animals. The HHS also provides pet food to other rescue organizations and the people who give so unselfishly of their time and efforts fostering rescued anaimals.
The next pet food distribution will take place this Saturday, Sptember 5, 2009. This event takes place at the HHS house which is in back of the new Hooves and Paws/Anderwald Feed Store at 16060-1 Bandera Road. Distribution to needy individuals begins at 9 a.m. and to organizations and fosters at 9:30 a.m.
