Economic Development Corporation’s July Agenda
The next meeting of the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
Their agenda consists of discussion, direction, and/or appropriate action regarding:
Old Town Helotes Special District master plan – phase one capital improvements projects including: funding, design, engineering, and construction of said projects; design of primary and secondary gateways and signage; and proposed change to add electrical outlets in Old Town.
Funding, design, engineering, and construction of water and sewer lines along the north side of Bandera Road (State Hwy. 16) from Cedar Trail (entrance of Cedar Springs) to Scenic Loop Road, including project management and updates.
Current commercial development projects within the City of Helotes.
2009 Helotes phone book.
Recruitment, selection, and hiring of an EDC specialist.
Applications for future membership to the EDC Board of Directors.
EDC FY 2010 operating and capital budgets.
EDC Specialist report on: UTSA SBDC development business classes; Old Town Helotes Special District public parking area; available property database; and updating economic census data.
