Ruby Lee – HHS Featured Pet for June
In honor of June being ‘Adopt A Shelter Cat Month,’ the Helotes Humane Society Pet of the Month is Ruby Lee, a 10-month old female cat who weighs 9 pounds.
Ruby Lee was found at a local hospital. The staff fed her until she was caught and brought to the Helotes Humane Society to be fostered.
This beautiful little lady has a distinctive black blaze running down her face. She is very friendly and loves to hang out with her caregiver. She gets along with her caregiver’s dogs, and every chance she gets she will climb into a lap, showing her appreciation with a lick or two. Even though Ruby Lee is the smallest of the cats in her foster home, she has illusions of being in charge.
If you would like more information about Ruby Lee, contact the HHS at 210-422-6242 or at email address hhsanimals@yahoo.com.
You can visit the HHS website at www.hhsanimals.org to see pictures and read information on all the animals available for adoption.
All HHS animals receive vaccinations, testing, and altering appropriate for their age, and will be microchipped prior to placement.
